Projections for Dominic Brown??

Postby Virinder » Fri May 31, 2013 7:55 pm

Is he legit right now?? Or should I look to sell high?? What's his ROS numbers looking like??

I'm trying to add a SP1 or SP2, and I'd love to package him in a trade for one, but maybe I should just enjoy the ride?

HR/FB was 26% before todays 2 dongs which is like Adam Dunn's ratio on a good year . I'd be a seller if I could get value.

He's probably got 10 HR and 10 SB in him still this year so I wouldn't give him away tho.

Basketball: 19 team roto keeper; weekly locks; start 10 util.

John Wall
Kawhi Leonard
Marc Gasol
Dwayne Wade
Bradley Beal
Danny Green
Ed Davis
Anthony Morrow
Matt Barnes
Kevin Garnett
Boris Diaw
Rasual Butler
Danny Granger

I don't know if I would be so quick to sell. I think this is your classic post-hype breakout. He was supposed to be a 25 HR guy and five tool stud two seasons ago. He was considered by many the best hitting prospect in baseball. Then the Phillies messed with his swing and possibly his head by jilting between the majors and minors.

Not crazy to think this 6'5" specimen has grown into his frame, added a bit of power and is ready to make a run at 30 HR. I see 25 HR on the season as his floor and 30 as his upside.

If you can get a legit SP1 by packaging him with an SP3, sure, go for it. But that's not available to me in my league, so I am probably holding him for the remainder of the year.
