Matt Moore

So I took a look at Moore's pitch/fx and I'm a little concerned. His velocity has dropped almost 2 mph on just about every pitch, and is getting a whole lot less swings and misses on his fastball as a result, along with just about all his other pitches. And the drop in velocity hasn't come with increased control, he's actually throwing more of his fastballs for balls. Anyone else look into this? would like to here some other people's thoughts...

yep, it is has been a topic in the blogosphere. Most say to sell high if you can. Drop in velocity isn't something that generally comes back around so this is likely to be a problem all year or an indicator that an injury might happen.
