Thank You Razzball and Draft Kings!

Postby Pacochu » Sat May 18, 2013 5:57 am

Last night was the big $100k Spring Fling over at Draft Kings. I was lucky enough to win the $100 entry ticket last week in the weekly Razzball game thanks to Shelby Miller's monster game. There were 1,042 teams competing for the top $20,000 prize. I saw several people with over 20 entries each. I don't know if they won the qualifiers or were buying them at $100 each.

I started the pitching combo of Chris Sale and Cliff Lee. That cost a bunch, but pitching is what wins here. Sale scored 41.65 points, so he was huge. I also got good games from Adam LaRoche (red hot recently), Matt Carpenter and Alex Rios. My low price guys weren't as great as Will Middlebrooks and JD Martinez put up goose eggs for me. I ended up finishing 54th overall with my one entry. The prize? $200!! I won $200 thanks for the fine folks at Razzball.

I've found a nice new hobby at Draft Kings thanks to Razzball. It really is a lot of fun and more rewarding that my little 10 team, $25 fantasy league. You all should play in the weekly Razzball league. The daily games are anywhere from free to $100+. It makes the usually long baseball season much more exciting. I can't recommend it enough.

Thanks for Rudy, Nick and JB Gilpin (The Big Biscuit) for putting this all together!

No problem, congrats!

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
