Rash Decision Time

Postby kevo252 » Wed Apr 03, 2013 7:52 pm

Make either of the following moves?

1) Drop Kuroda for Maholm?

2) Drop Gomez for Bradley Jr.?

Small bench in this league. I understand being patient, but value of replacement level players is high. Would like to take a chance on some "gut feeling" guys. Any input is appreciated.

I'm kind of tempted to say drop Gomez for Bradley. I think the kid had a spark. Gomez could be the gomez of years past.

Gomez is the safer play though. When he's played, he'll give you bags.

The problem with Gomez's SB is that they could come attached to a .240 BA. We also don't know if his power is for real real.

I drafted him in the mid-rounds, and was high on him, but the start he has had 1-12 reminds me that he is, after all, still Carlos Gomez.

The size of the benches in my league makes you take some risks with your lineup, either that or you stand pat and miss out on all of April pickups, some of which become breakout players.
