How legit is this guy? He's really young, never pitched above Single-A, and is playing for one of most terribly assembled MLB teams that I can remember (Placido is batting cleanup, enough said). With that said, he is highly touted. Where would you guys slot him in the overall SP rankings? Who is he comparable to?

He is a top 3 pitching prospect. That's all you got to know.

I have never seen him pitch, so no eyeball test from me yet. All I know is that he is among the most highly touted young pitchers. Either you take the chance on him now or one of your competitors will. He is among the same group of elite pitching prospects as Bundy, Wheeler,Cole and Walker.

For those who have witnessed his greatness in person, or on the tube, would you really be surprised with a sub 3.40 ERA and 160+ K's?

He will be on an innings limit similar to Strasburg last year 170ish


I'm bidding $21 on him in my $200 Yahoo league, hope I land him............
