OK, I love this man, loved him ever since he filled in for Street as closer a few years ago.
That being said, he currently sports a 2.08 ERA, 48K/16BB over 69.1 innings with a WHIP of around 1
I am thinking that this is too good to be true, considering that his BABIP is pretty low and the fact that he's an injury risk to carry around. All that said, I'm considering moving him for a proven starter.
What kind of starters should I be looking for if I pair him up with Bruce or Longoria? Or should I just stick with Duchscherer?
I've read an article somewhere that predicts his ERA will balloon to about 3.7 by the end of season 2 weeks ago (and the guy sounded like he was being generous as well). what do you guys think?
Justin Duchscherer
Re: Justin Duchscherer
I don't trust him to keep his ERA down or to stay healthy. I'd see if I can get Harang for Dook-sheer and Longoria or Bruce.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

oohhh from yahoo:
Duchscherer felt a twinge in his surgically repaired hip in a second inning at-bat, the Associated Press reports.

That's usually not a good sign.

Re: Justin Duchscherer
Hmmm... I take it that you wouldn't suggest switching out Vazquez for Duch-ster
(what about Verlander? Or am I just splitting hairs?)

No, I wouldn't do that.
