15 team 5x5 dynasty roto draft thru 10 rounds

Postby johnwhorfin » Tue Feb 14, 2012 8:59 am

I'm drafting in a 15 team 5x5 roto dynasty league with daily lineup moves. 45 man roster (15 minor league slots) with 23 active roster positions and 7 bench spots. I had the 13th pick in the snake draft.
C Mike Napoli (6)
C
1B Prince Fielder (1)
2B Brandon Phillips (5)
3B Mark Reynolds (8)
SS Hanley Ramirez (2)
CI
MI
OF Matt Holliday (3)
OF Shane Victorino (4)
OF Michael Cuddyer (9)

P CJ Wilson (7)
P Joel Hanrahan (10)

I waited too long on SPs to snag any of the few I really wanted as my ace (Beachy,Kennedy, Haren) but I think there is enough depth to get by with some savvy mid draft choices. I now want to fill my infield and have to wait 24 picks before the draft comes around again. Currently, these guys are sitting there, but of course some will be gone when I next select:
Bonifacio, Roberts, Prado, Headley, Freese, Encarnacion, Gamel, Chisenhall, Valencia, Chipper, Stewart, Polanco and Murphy, Belt, Sanchez, Lind, Goldschmidt, Duda and Pena are avaiable as CI options, and Alexi Ramirez, Neil Walker and Hardy and Peralta are there as MI possibilities. Catcher is not a position I like to fill, but Russell Martin, Arencibia, Ramos, Perez, Yadier, Soto and Mesoraco with a bunch of other lesser worthies are still available. At OF Ichiro, Markakis, Coco, Swisher, Frenchy, Tabata, Beltran, Pagan, Bourjos, Delmon Young, Alonso, Cain and Viciedo are still on the board.
So, with all those choices, do I go MI or CI, OF or pitching. In other words, any hitters jump out at you as necessary components to balance out my current roster?

You should be drafting pitching now. Can't you put Cuddyer at MI? Lind, Bonifacio are the best hitters...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Cuddyer qualifies at 2B in Yahoo, but not ESPN.

This draft is on CBS, and Cuddyer only has 1B/OF eligibility.

Here's my team after 14 rounds:
C Mike Napoli (6)
C
1B Prince Fielder (1)
2B Brandon Phillips (5)
3B Mark Reynolds (8)
SS Hanley Ramirez (2)
CI Michael Cuddyer (9)
MI
OF Matt Holliday (3)
OF Shane Victorino (4)
OF Torii Hunter (14)
OF
OF
U
P CJ Wilson (7)
P Joel Hanrahan (10)
P Johnny Cueto (11)
P Houston Street (12)
P Wandy Rodriguez (13)
P
P
P
P

Go after more pitching (no closers left, only MR) with Hudson/Kuroda/Buehrle/Porcello/Nova/Fister on the board, or snag a MI like Peralta/Roberts/Hill/Murphy/Escobar/Cozart or an OF such as Frenchy/Pagan/Boesch/JD Martinez/Delmon Young/Fowler/Rios/Wells/Presley?
