Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
What team do you guys think has the best pitching staff in MLB? Dodgers? Boston? Angels?
Re: Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Dodgers right now, Rays when Price is called up.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Re: Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Angels if their SPing weren't destroyed with injuries.... but it is, so I say Boston, then Rays/Dodgers tie, with the edge going to TB with Kuroda on the DL. When Price comes up, TB vaults to the slight #1 edge over Boston.
Why not have Price pitch the 5th-7th or 8th every night their tied or have the lead? Closer stuff with starter endurance? I'd do it. It wouldn't be every night, because if Shields or Garza or Kazmir are pitching a gem, you don't do it until the 8th and Price can go 2 IP anyhow. Saves Kazmir's fragile arm, too. this would only take place 2 times a week, 3 MAX. Then he is kept under his innings to save his arm and the Rays win. Maybe not all the stipulations listed here, but you get the main point of the thought, no ?
The Braves also deserve some pitching staff credit... especially when Tommy Hanson (RCC baby! Riverside Community College!!) comes up and strikes out like 200 guys in 10 innings.

Re: Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Hahaha... When are we expecting Price to be called up? He's still dominating in the minors, and Jeff Niemann is 0-2 (Rays only scored 2 runs in those games, but still). Isn't it only a matter of time? I kinda wanna be ahead of the game.

Re: Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Yeah grab Price if he's still available in your league right now! He was drafted and has been stashed away in "untouchable" by a guy in my league. I didn't want to miss out on the next sure thing so I grabbed Tommy Hansen and I think he will be called up within a few weeks. Hopefully sooner than later. Need Glavine to just retire already! Make room for the kid!
Re: Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Thing is, we have no bench spots in my league, so Price is not worth a spot on anyone's team currently. Same goes for Hanson. But when Price is called up, I gotta be ready!
Re: Whats the best pitching staff in MLB??????
Speaking of the Dodgers, Kuroda is sitting out there on the waiver wire. Any word on when he comes back?

Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
