Ian Stewart: Back to Tempt You
Ian Stewart getting called back up to see if he has more lives than a cat with the Rockies. I think he's going to get a chance to play 2B with Herrera sliding over to cover for Tulo while he's hurt. Couple Tulo's injury with CarGo's and it looks like he gets a cup of coffee to improve his trade value, in my opinion, unless either's injury is more serious than originally expected.

Considering dropping Mike Moustakas for him to be my 3B. I really am hurting with David Wright being out and Mousuckass is virtually worthless.

Troy Renck of the Denver Post suspects that Ian Stewart will merely act as bench depth when he's recalled.
Stewart is expected to be added to Colorado's active 25-man roster at some point Tuesday, but he's not going to take over starting duties at third base. The Rockies simply need a bit of depth with sluggers Troy Tulowitzki (quad) and Carlos Gonzalez (wrist) still ailing.
