Chacin first start

Postby BleedingBlue » Mon Apr 04, 2011 8:21 pm

What do you see his line being tomorrow?

Is he a start in his first start at home against the Dodgers?

I don't see why he wouldn't be.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.

When I asked about Narveson Grey said he would wait for him to build a little trust first so I was just curious if he felt the same way about Chacin and what kinda line to expect from him since I'm in a tight ERA/Whip race but dominating in K's

I love me some Matt Kemp, but the Dodgers also start guys like Jamey Carrol, Rod Barajas, Xavier Paul/Tony Gwynn. Not exactly the Rangers or Yankees.

Chacin is going against Kershaw. Not that that should affect ERA or WHIP, but when your team has 2 base runners and 0 run support in 7 innings, it can bring some nerves. If you are actually winning ERA and WHIP and trying to hold the lead, I would sit Chacin this week and wait until a better matchup.

In light of your ERA & WHIP scenario, I agree with Bourne.

I'd say it's a matter of strikeouts then. Chacin gets k's. Was just looking at last year's numbers and Kemp is the only Dodger that homered off him, but he was still just 3-17 overall.

I'd feel more confident if it was a road game, but i think he's trustable.
