Lineup Cards

Postby jitkis » Sun Jul 11, 2010 11:23 am

I've been wondering this for a while, so I figured I'd ask here. I usually find out about my starters being left out of the lineup by following MLB.com's Gameday and checking the lineups, which are usually posted about an hour before the match. However, I also try to follow ESPN's news wire, which will sometimes tell you if a player is being held out of the lineup several hours before the game starts. I was wondering where ESPN was getting its info, and if there's any place anyone can suggest looking for the earliest lineup cards - it's always annoying when your bench hitters play at 7pm and then one of your starters gets held out of a 10pm game and stuff like that, would be great to know in advance...

go to rotoworld.com and check out the community forums in the bottom right hand corner. every day they have a lineups thread that has them out very quickly each day.

At the beginning of the season, I signed up for free fantasy alerts via text from ESPN Mobile. It has been extremely helpful with late scratches and whatnot.
