Draft Software Rookie-Need Help

Postby Achilles » Tue Feb 12, 2013 3:52 pm

I feel like a moron asking this but.......I simply have never used any type of live draft software. How does it work?
If I have a live online Yahoo or ESPN draft and am "in" the draft room-do I have to click on the draft software and manually input each pick for each team? This seems like a lot of work especially late in the draft when some have left the draft and autodraft picks 4, 5, or 6 picks in a couple of seconds and then I'm on the clock. What am I missing? Does the war room or other draft software track each pick for me? How do I use it? I've used pen/paper for the last 10years during drafts-maybe I'm just too old at 48. Thanks for any advice y'all can give......

You draft players and then at the end it tells you how you've done in the stats you need... Right now, it's only 5x5... If you're talking about this:

If you're talking about some different software, I'm not sure...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
