Postby RadassStudMuffin » Thu Sep 15, 2011 10:37 am

Guy offered me Steven Jackson+Mark Ingram for my Mike Tolbert+Stevie Johnson.

The league settings are non-PPR, redraft, 1 point per 15 return yards. QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, WR/RB

SHALL I TAKE IT?

I have Roffleburger, Wallace, V-Jax, Chris Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Owen Daniels, Reggie Bush, Mike Thomas, Mike Tolbert, Stevie Johnson, Lance Moore, Robert Meachem, Cadillac Williams

Two weeks ago I would have said jump on that, but right now I am not so sure! Just considering Steven Jackson is hurt and seeing how the Saints used Ingram, it seems a little risky to me. Ingram pretty much only came in on short yardage plays and some goal line packages, but didn't score even in that role. Not to mention Brees is going to throw the ball 40 times a game. Just not so sure about it??

I am pretty sure I would take that.... Jackson is better then Tolbert, and Tolbert is never going to be worth more than he is today. Ingram is the future in NO, and they are obviously going to give him the goal line carries. I like Stevie, but I give Ingram the edge in the comparison. I think you win in this deal.

Why would you do that trade with the RB's you have? You need WR more than RB.

I agree with the above comments, except thats why I think you can make this move..... Then flip one of your RB for calvin johnson or andre johnson, and depending you might be able to get one of them and an additional WR for your team since RB are more valuable to most teams.

I dunno, he has Wallace and Vincent Jackson. He would be thin at WR on the bye weeks but would upgrade the flex from Tolbert/Reggie Bush/Steve Johnson to Steven Jackson.

Even if he can't flip a back into another WR2, 10 weeks of Jackson over current flex should be a bigger difference than 2 weeks of Johnson over Meachem.
