Grey,

I would love your comments on my Draft... Anything a glaring error?

12 Team, 5X5 Mixed, 2 Keepers, standard Yahoo format. I was the 12th pick, so I got a little creative with how I chose them, wanting to put specific guys in keeper position.

Rd Player Position
- TBD C
1 Miguel Cabrera 1B
12 Gordon Beckham 2B, 3B
21 Alcides Escobar SS
4 Ryan Zimmerman 3B
2 Matt Holliday OF
3 Curtis Granderson OF
5 Jayson Werth OF
6 Nelson Cruz OF
10 Hunter Pence OF
14 Vladimir Guerrero UTIL
7 Josh Beckett SP
8 Ricky Nolasco SP
9 Jake Peavy SP
13 Matt Garza SP
16 Jorge de la Rosa SP
17 Jonathan Sanchez SP
20 Johnny Cueto SP
11 Rafael Soriano - RP
15 Ryan Franklin - RP
18 Octavio Dotel RP
19 Mike Gonzalez - RP

I feel like I got a few steals, like Zimmerman in the 4th and Beckham in the 12th. I went for a lot of balance, but definitely feel like I will stuggle to win SBs. You think?

I don't think your steals will be that bad. Maybe a little low, but nothing terrible. I think your WHIP could be an issue if you run Sanchez, dlR and Cueto out there every time. But that also could be contingent on Peavy's success. Peavy could be the make it or break it on your staff. Your hitting looks solid, so that's good.

Someone dropped Slowey, so I put in a waiver claim to drop Cueto for him. I ended up with horrible waiver position, so we'll see.

That should help the WHIP.

I think youre right though, Peavy is going to be the deciding factor for how often I chuck everyone else out there.
