Moving an OF'er

Postby Raynman » Mon Jun 07, 2010 6:56 am

So with Mike Stanton being called up I have a plethora of OF'ers in my 12 team 5x5 keeper league, and looking to move someone (for either an upgrade at 2B or 3B or a Pitcher). I have already been offered Gio Gonzalez for Chris Young. What's the word on Gonzalez? Will he keep this up? The owner also has Latos, Leake, Cahill, Braden, Medlen, Kershaw, Verlander, and Greinke). I will be able to move Vlad to OF this week (with his interleague games) and Glaus can plus right into Util. Ross and Young will be on the bench most likely. Not getting much hype from owners regarding Ross, so I am thinking Young is the guy to trade

My Team:

C. M. Olivo
C. J. Posada
1B. P. Fielder
2B. Jose Lopez
3B. Chipper Jones
SS. D. Jeter
CI. D. Ortiz
MI. R. Furcal
OF M. Cuddyer
OF C. Gonzalez
OF H. Pence
OF C. Young
OF C. Ross
Util. Vladimir Guerrero
BE. M. Stanton
BE. T. Glaus
BE. S. Podsednik
DL. G. Sizemore

P. T. Lincecum
P. R. Halladay
P. A. Wainwright
P. J. Chacin
P. J. Vasquez
P. M. Talbot
P. T. Hoffman
P. M. Capps
P. R. Franklin
P. B. Morrow
BE. A. Chapman
DL. B. Webb

Your SPs look strong.
What about moving your excess OF for a closer, you know, to balance out Hoffman's attrocities?

Yea definitely trying to do that. Because the league is so deep everyone pretty much has 3 closers, so no one is budging on moving a closer. Still trying though. I do have a shot at moving Vlad for Gallardo, so I am currently debating that

I'm with JF666; I think Vlad for Gallardo is a bit too much.
