Scherzer trade

Postby JDubb83 » Tue Feb 27, 2018 5:02 am

12 team H2H Points league, $400 cap, 40 man roster, keep 15 players, salaries inflate $3 ea year kept, max 14 starts per week

Should I trade:
Max Scherzer $33 for Noah Syndergaard $21
?

Thoughts:

2019- Scherzer 34yo @ $36 versus Thor 26 @ $24

2020- Scherzer 35yo @ $39 versus Thor 27 @ $27

2021- Scherzer 36yo @ $42 versus Thor 28 @ $30

2022- Scherzer 37yo @ $45 versus Thor 29 @ $33

Is the current loss in production going from Scherzer to Noah worth the gains in the upcoming future?

Make the move or hold off?

I haven’t declined the offer, but I suggested to him Quintana @ $24 and either A Reyes or W Buehler @ $8 for Thor. (Both Reyes and Buehler inflate to $18 during second year kept).

Would you prefer this (Quintana and Reyes or Quintana and Buehler) versus Scherzer in a 1 for 1

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
