Beltre and Fernandez?

Postby chunkface » Thu Aug 01, 2013 10:41 am

A little worried about losing Cruz when Biogenesis hits and I've wanted to upgrade 3b all year.

So after some negotiating I got this offer back (12 team Keeper)

Jose Fernandez (17th keeper)
Todd Frazier (17th keeper)

Adrian Beltre
Kris Medlen (15th Keeper)

Now, I love me some JoFer. I picked up him the day before the season began and I've been riding his lows and current highs, so I don't really want to give him up. But he's gonna get shut down eventually, and probably during my playoffs (currently 2nd place 2.5 back). Do I take JoFer off the table and throw in someone else or try to get a different pitcher. Medlen is super blah, but he has Samardizja and Doubront, both keepable.

What do ya'll think?

ps. In my league we have 5 keepers one round earlier than they were taken last year (waiver= 17th round). So next years keepers will be something like: Chris Davis (16th), Anthony Rizzo (15th), Yasiel Puig (17th), Nick Franklin (17th), JoFer (17th), Chris Archer (17th), Chris Tillman (17th).

So I'm stacked with young guys, does that make JoFer expendable or franchise building material?

Sounds good for this year

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
