Felix/Goldschmidt for Moore/Votto

Postby freediro » Thu May 09, 2013 10:11 pm

I was offered Matt Moore and Joey Votto or my King Felix and Paul Goldschmidt, in a H2H, standard espn keeper league.

I really like Goldschmidt coming into this year, but Joey Votto is hard to pass up in this keeper league, but it has 7 years left and they may make Goldschmidt equally valuable. I am ok with trading King Felix for Moore as I see Moore becoming very good.

Thoughts or straight up answeres on which side you like?

My team:
McCann, Buck
Wright, Sandoval
Trout, McCutchen, Beltran, Jennings, Willingham, Fowler

Felix, CC, Harvey, Smaradzija, Ryu, Bailey, Holland, Bundy
Nathan, Henderson
This isn't a clown question, bro!

I would rather have the Felix side but I could see taking the offer as well.

i would rather have felix side too.. goldy has more pop than votto i think. Votto is great dnt get me wrong but he is more of a solid average guy who hits for alot of doubles the past few years

I wouldn't be so quick to trade Felix for Moore. Pitchers are notorious for not reaching their potential, either because of injury or because of unpredictable failures to develop. What Felix gives you now is basically what Moore might give you if he achieves his best-case outcome, and I wouldn't want to bet on that.
