McCutch for Greinke

Postby Charles » Mon Jun 20, 2011 7:46 pm

Team in sig. I need help at SP. I offered McCutch for Greinke. He countered with mcCutch/Reynolds for Greinke/Polanco/Abreu. Polanco and Abreu put me to sleep. Losing Reynolds would help my average and I'd have to hope my other guys could carry the power cats. It's a fairly shallow league with guys like Chipper, Headley, Crisp, Brantley, and Tabata available.

What would you do? Make the deal or head back to the bargaining table?

Because of Reynolds? Or because of McCutchen?

Both. And because Polanco and Abreu suck.

Any other opinions? Should I just go back with my original offer and say take it or leave it?

Id rather have McCutchen than Greinke. If he wants to take Reynolds though, it is almost worth it. Not for Polanco though.

What about McCutch/Reynolds for Greinke/Bourn? Better?

Not better. You do realize that over the last 30 days, the only 3B ahead of Reynolds on the Player Rater is ARod, right? Yea, his average sucks but i'll take him over Justin Turner or McGehee or whatever garbage you'd have to replace him with. Don't give away two valuable players for SP/SAGNOF.
