looking for a starting pitcher

Postby fatkid60 » Wed Apr 20, 2011 6:47 am

I know there's an owner who's willing to move a SP for an outfielder, of which I have a good core.

we play 4 OF and a Util spot.

I'd like to get both Tim Hudson and Hiroki Kuroda (he also has grienke on the DL, Lester, and Haren)from him, because my staff is weak. I'm talkin Latos, Oswalt, Gio, Dan Hudson, Ed Jackson, beachy are my go to guys.

My OF consists of the Dread Pirate, Colby Rasmus, Matt Kemp, and Alex Gordon.

Do you guys see these two as an upgrade if I package Latos with one of those outfielders, and which would you part with?

I wouldn't package any of those hitters to get those two pitchers. They are support arms and your staff is fine despite not having a definitive 'ace'. If he starts talking getting Greinke, you offer Alex Gordon & Latos. You don't trade two guys like that for T-Hud or Kuroda.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.

Thanks,

I sent him a note to see if he wanted to work things out, along with a starting offer of Gordon and Latos for Greinke and Kuroda. I'll see if he bites.

You have 4 OF spots and 4 OFers, so who would you replace in the outfield?
I like sports with balls in them.

I have Logan Morrison and Bobby Abreu waiting in the wings. There are also a few guys on the wire that would be adequate, like milton bradley, and peter bourjos.
