
The funny thing is, I *know* the people in the movie. Not the actual people themselves, of course, but people like that. It's amazing the path of destruction that methamphetamines has carved through the American landscape. It's no joke at all. This film communicates some of that destruction, but also shows that family bonds still mean something and are ever-resilient. Great acting work by John Hawkes and Jennifer Lawrence.
PS: I think the icon I attached to this post stands for radioactivity. I thought it kinda looked like a film canister!
