NL Only waiver

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

NL Only waiver

Postby Freak » Sun Aug 02, 2009 8:17 am

After missing out on the likes of Cliff Lee and Ben Francisco and DeRosa and Holliday and Garko I finally have a decent waiver spot.

Scott Rolen is next through the waiver gauntlet. Do I go ahead and put a request on him, or hope that the baseball gods send a good pitcher to the NL soon?

Pertinent details, I'm 3rd in offense, 4th in pitching and 3rd overall, down by 20 points. 46 points on offense 34.5 on pitching.

Also, Sherrill is also still on waivers. I figure he's not worth it since he won't be closing. Am I right in that figuring?

As follows is my roster.
C Josh Bard
1B Adrián González
2B Mike Fontenot
3B David Wright
SS Ryan Theriot
CI Geoff Blum
MI Jack Wilson
OF Shane Victorino
OF Scott Hairston
OF Justin Upton
OF Kyle Blanks
OF Carlos González
Util Casey McGehee
BN Jerry Hairston Jr.
DL Jay Bruce

SP Wandy Rodríguez
SP Randy Wells
SP Rich Harden
RP Kevin Gregg
RP Justin Miller
RP Nick Masset
P Clay Zavada
P Todd Coffey
P Matt Lindstrom
BN Tom Gorzelanny
BN Kyle Lohse
DL Chris Young

I'd grab Rolen.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
