Keepers for next year

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Keepers for next year

Postby pythons007 » Fri Sep 28, 2018 9:22 am

Can keep 6 can sign a contract for a player for as long as you want and their salary increases by $5 each year.

Currently I have under contract:
Hoskins $15 next year signed through 2020
Stanton $30 next year signed through 2019

I need to keep up to 4 of the remaining:
Puig $8
Betts $35
Alex Reyes $1
Jack Flaherty $10
Eduardo Rodriguez $10
Zach Wheeler $10
David Dahl $10
Scott Kingery $1

Is Kingery worth trying to keep for multiple seasons? Obviously his season was shit this year, but they signed him to a huge deal and will almost be guaranteed playing time.

What about Dahl? I've had my eye on him for a couple years but he can't stay healthy and they have a shit ton of outfielders.

You can just redraft Kingery no?

Keep Betts, Dahl, Wheeler, Flaherty

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Betts would cost me $35 next year and then $40 for the following year. Would you keep him for a second year at $40?

Yes I could redraft Kingery.

What is Dahl worth as a keeper? Is he a long time keeper at $15?

You didn't mention Puig, not worth 8 with the the power speed combo? His runs and rbi suck though.

Yes, Betts at $40 -- Dahl is a keeper at $15

You can redraft Puig after this season when he did nothing
