AL Only keeper advice

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

AL Only keeper advice

Postby shitbird » Tue Mar 10, 2015 6:19 pm

A-hoy-hoy.
I would like some advice on who to keep in my AL-Only keeper league (details in signature) . Bear in mind we can only pick up four players all year.
I plan on keeping:
Kipnis (17th rd)
Kluber ( 22nd Rd)
Betts (24th rd)
Greg Holland (8th rd)

I am likely keeping Street (7th rd) though Gregerson (19th rd) has me hemming and hawing a bit. I don't trust Street to stay healthy but I also don't trust Gregerson to get and keep the closer's job. Note that closers go quite early (rds 3-6) and punting saves in this league has never worked.

My 6th keeper falls between: McHugh (23rd), Hosmer (12th), Chris Carter (11th) and Salazar (21st).
Pitching in the AL is kind of crap so I'm leaning toward McHugh. I also sort of like Carter for the power but I'm not sure if he will bang out 30+ again. I've had Hosmer and Salazar for a couple of years and have soured on them.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!
