Keeper advice. pick 3

Postby REEFIS » Tue Feb 26, 2013 3:52 pm

in a 12 team auction league. already $25 in the hole from trading for braun last year, so looking to keep 3 cheap keepers.
think the auction budget is 250.

bumgarner $12
wainwright $2
matt moore $2
f. rodney $2
j. peavy $2
a. de aza $2

basically my dilemma is whether to keep bumgarner at $12 if I'm starting at a negative 25 budget which for some players im $50 behind to start this year's auction
12 team H2H mixed auction league. 5SP 2RP & 2 of either
C. Santana
1B Morneau
2B. Utley
SS. Aybar
3B. Middlebrooks
OF: J. Upton
OF: J. Bradley
OF: C. Crawford
U: A. De Aza
Bench: Y. Escobar, M. Young, B. Revere

SP: J. Johnson, Ryu, M.Bumgarner, Cahill A. Wainwright, , M. Moore, R. Halladay
RP: Soriano, Romo
Bench: Perkins, Billingsley, P. Hughes
D/L: Teixeira
Minors: X Bogaerts

I agree Wainwright and Moore, but I actually think De Aza is a nice bargain there as the third keeper.

Wainwright and Moore.

After that you have to keep Bumgarner. He is to good of a price to let go. I know you want to save money but you still need to keep your best players with the best value. And those these do both things for you.
