Final Day Starts

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Final Day Starts

Postby ohbilly2134 » Wed Oct 03, 2012 4:54 am

Okay, YoGo has officially been scratched from his start. I'm up 101 points with 2 starts remaining, and he's got one start remaining.

So, for one final time, which 2:

Smyly
Burnett
Luis Mendoza
G. Floyd
Shelby Miller
Edgar Gonzalez
Mendoza
Diamond
Daisuke
EJax
Sheets

Am leaning Burnett and Floyd. Thoughts? Considering the points difference, I guess I'd be looking for safest for a QS...? OR- Do I just start Brunett and not use all of my starts, considering my points lead in this head to head final round.

And a BIG, FINAL THANK YOU!

Burnett and Floyd... You're welcome... Hope you win it!

Oh, and if Burnett or Floyd are scratched last minute, I'd go Sheets...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Grey- you don't think Floyd is more prone to implode? Also, do you think the Sawx have mentally checked out yet?

Not trying to be paranoid, but am...ha! it's the finals, baby!!! [in my best dickie v voice]

Anything can happen, I'd go with the two I said... Edwin Jackson's a solid start, but he's not going to pitch past 5 innings probably...

Okay, and up 100, you think I should definitely go with both starters, right?

He's got Travis Wood going for his final start, and he also has a bullpen of Chapman, benoit, parnell, bailey, storen and valverde.

Grey:

Went with EJax over Floyd and Burnett. So far, paying dividends. Burnett screwed me a little, but looks like I'm well on my way to the title. I'll post screenshot later if indeed I take the gold.

Better hope his offense stinks and his bullpen blows...
