First real draft of the season

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Not sure how many teams in the league but I'd dump Gardner for more power. Morneau is killing us on a couple teams - it's hard to recommend cutting bait on a proven 25/100 who won't kill you on average. But SB is so streaky in H2H....you don't have enough starting spots to justify wasting one on SAGNOF.

Thanks Rudy. It's 12 teams, with LF/CF/RF rather than 3 x OF (and no CI/MI), so it's not quite as simple as dumping Gardner for just another OF. Best LF available are:

Damon
Joyce
Kubel
LaPorta
Murphy
Scott
Brantley.

Who do you like?

I'd prefer Matt Joyce over Brett Gardner. It's possible Gardner has some trade value but not sure the appetite for SAGNOFs. Any Yankee fan?

Doubt he has much trade value - I got him off the wire in the first place :-)
Thanks for the input, though. Really appreciate it.

OK, so a trade offer has been sent my way. I give Kimbrel and Perez and get Adam Dunn and Darren Oliver (an irrelevance really).

Dunn has to turn it round surely, and he is useful in a league where we count OBP as well as AVE. I will have a bit of a problem fitting him in however.

It will leave me short on Saves though as I'll only have Farnsworth and Nunez left. We also count Holds, so I suppose I could pursue those a bit more aggressively (which I haven't up until now).

Roster below. Whaddaya think?

It's H2H, 12 teams, 5x5 + OBP and Holds.

It's fair, but doesn't seem to make much sense for your team.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
There's more than one player with the same last name? Then spell out who you're talking about.
Thanks!

Volquez replacement? Remembering I have a bunch of WHIP-killers...

Vogelsong
Ross
McCarthy
Richard
Moseley
Arrieta
Morton
Garland

Or just stream the spot/grab the hot hitter/get a Holds guy?

Thanks.

Stream a hot hitter/MR... Or Ross in decent matchups.

Oops - Narveson is available. Would you grab him over the MR/hot hitter option?
