Catchers

A catching chronology: March 08-wasted the #22 overall pick on vHictor Martinez April 10, 08-alarmed at above's lack of power production but at least he was hitting .350 April 25, 08- surprised to see myslef in last in terms of hitting since this was my focus. April 25, 08-place small pox in Clevela...

Middling Infieldaholic

I can't get enough of these guys and I need help. I've got BJ Upton and Jimmy Rollins starting but I've stashed the 3rd Tenor, O-Dog and now Aviles. Polanco-hitting .363 in the past month and won the freaking batting title last year yet I can't get anything for him but I can't drop him. O Hudson- hi...

Shane Victorino just showed up on waivers.

11 team, 5x5 league. Only OF eligible. Does he bring anything? I've got a deep if unspectacular OF with Dunn, Ellsbury, Quentin, Dye, Bruce, Ibanez and Swisher (Upton plays 2B). Just more of the same?

Mike Aviles starting at MI over O-Dog or the 3rd Tenor?

Lots of hype on this guy but is he an upgrade at MI over Hudson or Polanco? I've got BJ Upton and Jimmy Rollins starting at 2B/SS.

Re: jacoby for a SP

Jacoby is extremely valuable. He could get >120 runs and 60 SB's plus decent numbers everywhere else. I'd give him any of those SP's and try to flip Crawford for Webb or Hamels as you won't need steals anymore.

Re: Name me a closer I could target for...

@Rollobobo

I'm killing it in WHIP, K's and wins but only need saves. Is there any chance Gonzalez gets saves anytime soon?

@Grey

I got laughed at looking for Percival for my "middling infielders". I thought my OF carried more value but I guess I'll bite the bullet and offer Dye.

Re: RAZZHOLES ASSSSEEMMMMBLLEEEE

Closers scare me after i dumped Mike Lowell for that bag of suck that claims to be JJ Putz. Even the sure things are not sure things. Other than obviously great asset management turning Sherrill into Nathan, I still like a good starting rotation with waiver wire closers.

Name me a closer I could target for...

Jermaine Dye?
Raul Ibanez?
Jose Guillen?
Jay Bruce?
Placido Polanco?
Orlando Hudson?

Obviously I'm deep at OF (4 above, plus Quentin, Elsbury, Dunn) and 2B/MI where BJ Upton starts and I rotate O-Dog and the 3rd tenor.
