Re: Keeper League Trade

Volquez or Hudson for Mags sounds about right. As a keeper, Volkie is slightly more valuable since he probably came cheap. DLee deserves Lincecum or something around there, but Zambrano-ish isn't enough. I have the same problem with Lee. He's not everyone's favorite sexy fantasy player, so he just s...

Re: Peavy for Braun/Scherzer: Keeper league trade

This is fine advice. I've been leaning toward D, though sleeping on it a bit has allowed me to come to my senses and stick to the gameplan that has worked well so far and just not do it at all. Last night, the Miller/Jurrjiens combo I have gained me 3.5 points. It's a 3 year keeper league, so one mo...

Semi-Colon

";" = Bartolo Colon... half the man he used to be. A Semi-Colon ( ; ) is a punctuation mark indicating a long pause between when a pitcher enters a game and when his fantasy owner realizes that he wasn't the smartest person in the world for starting him. The Italian printer Aldus Manutius the Elder ...

Re: Hard-Core RCL Smack

Colon got reamed tonight. Colon was an enema of the people. Colon was half the man he usually is: He was Semi-Colon. On the upside, he was the only guy on the field swinging harder than Dustin Pedroia. Stop. Stop right now. Semi-Colon, or ";" as we sometimes call him on this site. I believe that BV...

Re: Hard-Core RCL Smack

Awww... You just made me blush. I bet you thought I was all wet and you wanted to give me a towel and a squeegie. (both hands on cheeks, head tilted toward the side) No... I live in a relatively high part of Des Moines. The part that was flooded was near the river, though my commute to work i...

Re: Hamels/Morneau for Fielder/Burnett/Sherrill

I'd say that Sherrill has way more value than he's worth, so the addition of him to the trade would make him an okay trading piece to flip to another team looking for trades.

Peavy for Braun/Scherzer: Keeper league trade

I've been offered a trade in my NL Only keeper league of Peavy for Braun and Scherzer. Now get your NL Only Keeper game face on, fellas, meaning, lots of things to consider here... I'm in 1st place by a ton and the guy offering the trade is in 8th place, and not playing to win this year. Peavy (2nd...

Re: Recent update on RCL league, 1st trade

Both guys get pieces they need. That's what I love about this league, no bullshit. Gonna be really competitive guy...

Re: RCL - Post Draft

Anyway, I'm looking forward to being in an active league and again, good luck to everybody. I think if nothing else, this above point is really the thing you all should appreciate. Even if you don't win, at least you won't have people quitting right after the draft. Gee... thanks Sgt. Slaughter. Wh...

Re: RCL - Post Draft

Lincecum is available for trade. I'm looking for a bat that fell in the 30-40 draft position range... not asking for anything spectacular, but I'm going to be picky. I'm going to take the best offer I get in the next couple of weeks or so, otherwise I'll just sit on him and hope for the best.
