Re: Dynasty Trade

no deal. Hanley is a solid ss but he isn't good enough to give up a future stud ss as well as two sold hitters. I am not sold on Hanley being the top option this year and if I owned him I would probably look to deal him.

Re: Hamilton/Scherzer Trade

You need more if you are dealing Hamilton. Fine with what you are getting but I don't love what you are giving up.

Re: Mark Trumbo

Good for power and RBI and that is about it. Don't buy into his batting average from last year. So as long as you get him for an ok price, fine. Not someone I will be targeting unless he falls further than I think he will.

Re: R weeks vs Napoli

I would probably do it. I am not a believer in Napoli and I have some question as to whether Hill can repeat. With Weeks and Jones you know more of what you are getting. As long as the money doesn't effect what you will need at auction but you said there wouldn't be much available. If that $7 is mor...

Re: Who would you keep?

Probably Latos. Neither one is really much of a value though and are probably over priced for what you could get them at auction. So of the two, you know what you are going to get with Latos.

Re: freese/trumbo deal

It's fair... I'd take it if I needed a 3rd baseman...
Yep. Only way I don't do it is if the money you save could help you net a similar 3B in the draft. By doing it, it keeps you from having to over pay for a possible lesser guy. Personally I do the deal.

Re: Hosmer or Rizzo?

you liked him a lot last year? You owned him and liked it? lol
Well I liked him going into last year. Of course I should mention that I am a Royals fan but I still believe in him.

Re: Who are your multi-highlighted guys

Hosmer
Choo
Harper
Salv. Perez
Lincecum

Of course all is dependent on draft but I will be looking at them at different points.

Re: Keep Five

I would take the first five. The last three are good but not good enough to keep IMO. Soriano and Howard have way too many question marks. Maybe worth getting at auction but not as a keeper. Murphy doesn't bring enough to the table to warrant keeping.
