Re: Streaming: WHY it WORKS!

I've always been an ardent fan of streaming, but my main league has dropped Ks in favor of K/9, and added Losses. Does this completely get rid of streaming? Would you guys prioritize quality SPs during the draft? There's a minimum games started per week of 5, so I can't punt SPs. It's a 12-team h2h...

Re: Streaming: WHY it WORKS!

Last year I was forced to think out of the box a little bit and did a lot more streaming than I ever have before. In our league there is a limit of 1260 innings so you can't just do it willy-nilly or you'll just hit your cap way early. Last year I ended up winning my league for the first time despit...

Slow Draft, Mixed 5x5 with OBP musings

Slow draft, 12 team 5x5 mixed league with OBP is finishing up the 4th round. Took Votto with the 7th then nabbed Longoria on the way back before things started to go a bit wonky on me. It was looking like Adam Jones would fall to me in the 3rd but he and my backup plan of Kinsler both got nabbed rig...

Re: Pitching Decisions

Thanks. I've got Latos in there and have taken Marcum in and out a couple of times. He should be able to handle this markup but he was a little shakey with the control in his last outing against the Cubbies which makes me nervous. Neither lineup is stellar but both have a couple of dangerous hitters...

Re: Best SP ROS?

None of these guys are more than matchup based streamers. Why not just consult the Streamonator and pick someone up that looks like they've got a couple of good upcoming matchups. Griffin's next one looks good matchupwise as its in SEA but he's against King Felix who's been on a tear so the W doesn'...

Pitching Decisions

Stream-o-Nater doesn't really like any of my pitchers tonight although the matchups don't look as bad as the scores seem to indicate. Latos for instance hasn't been given high scores yet has been rock solid other than a couple of starts the last couple of months. . Latos H Phi is questionable but he...

Re: Victorino

The Phillies have scored more runs than the Dodgers this year and Victorino already hits at the top of the lineup (2nd mostly). Maybe a few more steals hitting leadoff (probably will hit 1st) but I don't see a major bump anywhere unless he gets on base more, which would help no matter where he is. ...

Re: How did i do in this Dynast Trade

What's the point of even playing fantasy if it's aiming to compete in 2 years...? You obviously play to win every year but in dynasty you have to be able to have a realistic goal if you have a really poorly performing team, particularly at this point in the season when those that are contending mig...

Re: Victorino

Not really. Lineup may be slightly better but the park is worse
That hasn't stopped them from racking up the RBI's. I'd say he'll hit fewer out of the park than he did but hitting near the top of that order would certainly help his run production and give him more opportunities to run.

Re: SAGNOFs After Trade Deadline

For the other side of the SAGNOF coin, it looks like Rajai Davis can regain his SB value with OF's leaving town like Snider and Thames and with Lind gimpy to open up the DH spot temporarily. Also, hopefully the Cubbies can make a couple of OF moves to free up space for Campana as he's had pretty muc...
