Re: Six Team ESPN Draft

Only six teams? I've never seen a league that small. I would go with best player available. Even with the larger rosters, you are basically doing a 12 team draft. I'd lean towards receivers, but don't ignore your backs since you do need four of them. Everyone should have really deep teams.

Re: How many closers are 2 many closers

How close are you in saves? Is it Head to Head? Like Grey said, a question without background information is hard to answer.

Re: I guess it's time for a draft review

I looked through all the teams today and noticed one guy drafted three tight ends, Dallas, The Real Zach Miller and Shockey. His only bench receiver is Hooshmagoosh. I imagine that Miller or Shockey will be dropped. Another team that has Celek at TE also has Owen Daniels on her bench. One of those g...

Re: Westbrook v.s. Dixon......as a Gore owner?

I think this is one of the situations that may change during the early part of the season. I would hold Hardesty and try to move him to the Harrison owner. You'll have to watch and see how things fall out in SF. Westbrook makes more sense, but it will have to come down to game play. I don't see Gore...

I guess it's time for a draft review

I drafted in the 9 spot in my 10 team PPR league. Scoring is standard with the exception of 1 point per catch. I don't think I did too poorly. We start 1 RB, 2 WR and 1 RB/WR. I listed the round I grabbed each player. QB: Romo (4), Ryan (10) RB: Gore (1), Charles (3), Best(6), McFadden(9), Buckhalte...

Re: Observations from the nine spot in a 10 team league

QB scoring is standard, but I think having a top QB would help.

Observations from the nine spot in a 10 team league

I have my 10 team PPR draft tonight and I am drafting from the nine spot. I did several mock drafts over at ESPN and have come to some conclusions. Mock drafts are tough to totally rely on as people might be experimenting and or operating on a different scoring system. Plus, I’ve found that many peo...

Got an interesting offer this morning

I woke this morning to a trade offer in my email. I give Shaun Marcum and Kevin Gregg for Jered Weaver and Joel Hanrahanna Barbara. I am in a solid first place by 23 points. I have been very lucky with 10,s across the board in all offensive stats except for swipes where I am fifth. Pitching wise, I ...
