Goldschmidt is better to hold onto than Encarnacion IMO, but I'm not sure why you wouldn't target a pitcher other than Lincecum, who has 12 walks in 16 innings and the same low fastball velocity so far that he had all of last year.

Re: Headley vs Utley
I'd personally try for a little more than just Utley initially with the other manager being a Headley fan... Utley was drafted like 100 spots behind Headley and though Headley is currently on the DL, Utley has missed 45+ games in three straight seasons. Try to sell him on Headley's monster year last...

Re: J Upton for Longoria?
Encarnacion for Longo would be great... You still have Goldschmidt at first and you upgrade third pretty heavily. I think I'd stay put on Justin Upton though. If you're going to trade him, I wouldn't trade him for a guy that missed nearly 100 games last year and missed 30 the year before (While hitt...

Re: Thoughts on trade for Linc?
Both would be very bad for you...
I wouldn't trade hardly anything for Lincecum. Sure, he won his first start, but did you see his SEVEN walks in five innings? He's still got issues.

Re: Trade Advice
Solid deal on paper but looks bad for your team, assuming you don't have any great MI hidden on your bench, especially if you're throwing in a closer.

Re: Trade for King
There's no reason for Soriano to be in that trade... Felix's value is around that of Castro and Pujols > Tulo. If anything, he should be throwing in a closer.

Re: Trading for a catcher?
I'd grab Salty and not worry about a trade right now. He's looked improved at the plate and his power has already been demonstrated readily.

Re: My Kemp 4 His Holliday/Bruce
Honestly Kemp's injur proneness is blown out of portion IMO. He played 155+ gAmes four years in a row before last year.
With that being said, getting two top 3 round OF for one first round OF is a good deal.

Re: King Felix for Castro+Altuve
Aybar is virtually a lock for a ton of runs scored hitting second for the Angels. Honestly I think that a .280, 100 runs, around 10 HRs, and 20 SB's line is more than reasonable. He may even get 60 RBI hitting behind Trout. I don't think he's a problem by himself... The main problem I see is that hi...

Re: Is it ever worth trading away Ryan Braun?
Seeing Morse hit two Hrs game one and having Lawrie out longer than expected makes this sting a bit, but yeah long term I'm likely better off without the deal. If Morse had 1B eligibility I'd probably pursue a deal for him straight up. I still have a gut feeling that he's going to continue this HR b...
