Re: Trade Help needed
Definite no from me on the Hughes swap.
The other one is pretty even. If it was me I'd rather have Adam Jones. I believe Kershaw is another year away from breaking out. But a solid argument can probably be made either way.

Re: Jim Johnson
None of the above. Johnson failed as the closer last year. Pretty sure he will fail again. If you are really vulturing for saves, drop Thornton (I think Putz might be next in line after Jenks since Thornton is a lefty).

Re: Adam Jones vs Magglio
I'd go with the upside of Jones. You can state for much certainty what you'll get from Mags. Jones should give you more power and steals, lower AVG.

Re: Big Drop Day
Agree with Havok. You don't need speed. Unless you are in a keeper\dynasty league, drop DeRosa for Ortiz.

Re: Jose Guillen, Big Papi, or Austin Jackson?
I roll the dice on Jackson and hope he can have a solid ROY caliber season. Papi second, Guillen well behind both of them.

havok,
No fear of Wandy this year? I fear his numbers might have been better than they should have been last year.

Re: In a vacuum who would you rather have for one year
Rios has the higher upside but Damon is the safer choice, in my opinion. I think it depends on the rest of your team and your acceptance of risk.

I read that Wilson was scratched due to food poisoning....
That should make your decision easier.
