Re: Gallardo....

Agree with you Mr. Rizzo. Gallardo is a beast. Check his minor league performances on top of his success in his (healthy) major league seasons. He is a big boy too.

Remember he had a knee injury in 08, nothing to do with his arm.

1B options

Grey, I know you've mentioned earlier that you want to get at least one of the elite 1B in your drafts. But if I have an infield of Chase Utley, Hanley Ramirez, and Ryan Zimmerman, do you think I can get away with the combo of Billy Butler and Garrett Jones?? The only thing Butler will kill you in i...

Dickie Harden

I thought your Sheets/Harden/Bedard combo was hilarious.

However, what is your prediction for Harden this year in Texas??

W/K/ERA/WHIP

Thanks.

Which OF to draft??

I was looking at 8 OF's to draft later in the draft to pair up with 2 I already have. I have Justin and BJ Upton. Could you please rank in the order you think match up best with my current OF's?? Denard Span Nolan Reimold Adam Lind Julio Borbon Chris Coghlan Ben Zobrist Kyle Blanks Carlos Gonzalez T...

Re: Who to keep

Thanks for the advice. I guess I was leaning Peavy because we have seen him be a 19 game winner, 200+ K pitcher, and a very low ERA/WHIP guy. Sure he hasn't done it (because of injuries) the past couple years, but he could be that guy again in the AL Central. He is still under 30 as well. Rios is a ...

Who to keep

Our league is a little different style. We go off of player's salaries. Our cap should be somewhere near $102 million. Who is a better value to keep? Alex Rios for $9.7 m or Jake Peavy for $15 m I think they both can bounce back, but Peavy looked much more dominant in his time on the South Side, whi...

Re: Trade Offer

Thanks again Frank. I am Upton's #1 fan and feel he is very very close to going berserk. I have to keep in mind he just turned 22. He hasn't come close to tapping what he can do. CarGo plays in my backyard too, so I will stick with my boys. Thanks again for the advice.

Re: Trade Offer

Thanks bro. I am agreeing with you right now. I like Votto, but he still hasn't put together that full breakout season. Injuries, physical and mental, have limited him. The same could've been said about Greinke heading into last year, but I think he elevated himself to the elite. I can't say Votto h...

Trade Offer

Was offered Votto for Greinke straight up.

I have Butler at 1B already. I have Peavy, CLee, Harden, Gallardo, and BAnderson already in my rotation besides Greinke.

Should I stick with Butler and Greinke or pull the trigger on that trade.

Thanks.
