Re: Ubaldo/ moose for reynold/norris

I don't trust Ubaldo, but I really don't trust Norris. Reynolds would a be a big boost to power in a 14 team league and Moose is a bit of a wildcard. On the surface I'd say go ahead, but I'd still be looking for SP replacements early in the season.

Re: FAAB on Clippard

Clippard is a great RP but I don't think he'll be saving many games this season. If you want to speculate he's worth a couple of bucks. That being said, if Storen's tests come back with bad news, he could be the best closer in baseball.

Re: Konerko

I would drop any of those for Konerko, but Duda is the one to lose.

Re: KC acquires Bourgeois

I heard the Nats as well. With Crow's move back to the pen I'd be surprised if they trade him for a reliever.

Re: Term for trades when...

I thought Daniel Murphy's law was all Mets prospects are doomed to failure.
Nah, Daniel Murphy's law states that fringe players on badly managed teams display an inverse relationship between their quality of play and their number of at bats. See also David Murphy.

Re: Lawrie or Kemp

I got Lawrie in the sixth round of my most recent draft. Kemp went #2 overall.

Re: Uggla

No. I don't like either of those as a compliment player in a MadBum trade.

I see Rudy's point, but you take MadBum and love him.

Re: Uggla

If Cuddyer has 2B eligibility I'm in favor of that trade.

Re: closer

Axford is probably the safest bet of the three.
