bleh....

10 team roto 5x5. Weekly changes. With rosters this shallow, I don't feel like I can afford to suck at any position. I suck at shortstop. I thought Escobar was going to bat 2nd. Thanks for muttin' Ken Macha. He offered my Nolasco for his Jeter. I don't want to give that up, although I think it's fai...

Put him on the "Sleeper Radar"

Michael Brantley has been named the starting Left Fielder for the Cleveland Indians; can you say SAGNOF!? There are other players (i.e. Tony Gwynn Jr., Austin Jackson) that are widely available and better acquisitions. As the season progresses, however, we'll need to keep a watch on dudes like Brant...

Re: 12 team 5x5 standard - punting W and K...huh?!

Not too big on punting categories. You will definitely win Saves but what if you end up with this years Brad Lidge? It is a very tempting theory to try but going for balance is tried and true. The good news is people in your league will need Closers so you can use them to trade for Starters. The one...

I'm a "Kevin Correia kind of guy" to be honest with you.

Re: What should I do?

I am thinking about throwing one of these deals out there. What do you think?

Give: Greinke and Hamilton
Get: Braun

Give: Greinke, Hamilton, Zimmerman
Get: Braun and Zobrist

-note: dude has Michael Young at 3rd Base, and is fairly deep in 2b/SS

Re: Duchscherer

Yeah, I'm not tripping over myself to get Duchscherer but he could have a decent season. I don't like Anderson where he's been drafted. None of the Oakland pitchers are that appealing to me this season. Gio Gonzalez has some deep Sleeper upside but I think I'd rather go after NL, high K dudes. Carmo...

Re: Duchscherer

I watched the last Spring Training Game he pitched. Looked really, really good and was pitching against legit dudes. You should definitely drop Carmona for a different pitcher. There are a few dudes I like more than Duchscherer that aren't very highly owned right now: Chris Young, Clayton Richard, M...

Re: Werth/Jimenez for Lester/Bruce

I like the Lester/Bruce side a little better but it's kind of a wash
