Re: Draft help

I would go with Billy Butler. He is clearly the best player available at this point.

Re: Keeping Gio?

I would say he is safe at this point. Unless news comes out otherwise, but not something you can/should plan for.

Re: Keeper help

I would go with Aoki. The Brewers will be better than last season and Aoki will be entrenched at the top of the order.

Altuve is nice but it is hard to get me excited about any Astros. Also Altuve really backslid in the second half last year.

Re: Yet another keeper question

Tough decision...My recommendation would be to review your player rankings and compare to ADP. The players where you are getting the best value I would keep. If you can only keep 3, I would definitely keep Cabrera, Medlen and probably Hill. Heyward at 8 would also be a good pick but there is more OF...

Re: Melky Cabrera

I have Melky in a points league where he is even more valuable. I love the situation too as the Jays should be in the conversation to lead MLB in runs.

It is more of a question of how he will perform off of HGH and whether the drugs led to the crazy years last 2 seasons.

Re: Giancarlo (Formally Known As Mike) Stanton

I would not expect 40 HRs out of Votto. If you only need power, Stanton is the guy. But he will also K a lot and will not have as many RBI opportunities as Prince.

Melky Cabrera

Buying or Selling on Melky this year? Can keep him with a 7th round pick (3-4 rounds later than his ranking value). It is a points league so he grades out very high since he produces in every category and has a low K rate. IMO - I like the move to Toronto as he will have great protection and run pro...

Anyone with points league experience?

I am in my 2nd year in a points league. Last year, I did fine but would have drafted differently if I was more aware of the scoring system. For any veteran points leaguers... how much do you vary your draft rankings for this format? Also: Can keep Stanton as a 3rd rounder (12-team league) but he gra...
