Re: shoot me some criticism!

Might consider trading Butler. I'm not against bench bats like Grey is, but if you are going to carry one I'd want him able to fill in as many different positions as possible, not just UT only. Ideally, I'd want a bench bat that was 1B/OF eligible so he could fill in at 5 different positions for inj...

Re: Rank these 3 3rd sackers ROS

If you've got two sacks there is already something wrong with you. A third would be even more ludicrous.

Re: Streaming Pitching So Far

I drafted a few starters but have only kept hold of 3 for any length of time and only have two of them left that I drafted (dumped Ogando during injury and have kept Scherzer and Samardzija). Thus far I have 282.6 innings of streamed starters for 219 K's, 20 W, 3.69 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. The K-rate is ...

Re: League Rant: Terrible 1-sided trades

Some of those might look bad now but could look genius at the end of the year if the struggling guy doesn't figure things out. Certainly Price and Hamels should be worth far more than just a closer but sadly neither of them of them have put up numbers worth what they were traded for thus far. Could ...

Re: Is it Junichi or Koji ???

Koji is one of those relievers that never seems to get the gig, no matter how wide open it seems to be. I held him for ages in his previous location thinking he'd get the gig and it never came. It's like some relievers that fantasy folks like to peg as next in line instead end up with the bullpen ve...

Re: J Zimm vs. Detroit tonight - Sit or Start?

He just shut out the Reds and the Braves, the latter on the road. Both teams have been a bit up and down the last couple of weeks but they are definitely lineups that can test a pitcher and he came through those giving up 3 hits over 17 innings. I'm keeping him in my lineup.

Re: Streaming Catcher...

I can see that you are getting cheap stats from the position while loading up at others, just because I don't necessarily agree with your strategy does not mean that "the strategy is evading me" and I would appreciate it if you would not insult my intelligence. I think you've been a bit fortunate as...

Re: Streaming Catcher...

For April, I streamed 8 catchers: 11R/6HR/15RBI/0SB/.273AVG Posey: 9R/3HR/14RBI/0SB/.280AVG How you doin'? Your plan of grabbing Napoli would have gotten you 13/4/27/0/0.269 so not a really strong argument. I've gotten 8/4/11/0/0.295 out of Pierzynski whom I'd gotten within the last couple of round...

Re: Open bench. Who to call up?

Why are you stashing Aybar? Decent average but scored less than 70 runs last year in 142 games. Not really worth holding since you don't have a MI spot. On the rare occasion Zobrist sits you get a minscule chance he steals a base for you. I'd definitely consider Moss since he's hot and also because ...

You might want to hold out in case someone drops Braun, Trout, or McCutcheon.
