Re: Chris Heston

It's a big "if" on Cain coming back healthy, but if Lincecum, Hudson, Cain, and Peavy are all healthy and performing decently, then Heston is likely back at AAA.

Re: Franco or Swihart in a keeper?

For this year and 2016 I like Franco better, but in a long term keeper league, I would prefer to take my chances with Swihart. Both players carry a fair amount of risk, but catchers with big offensive upside are very hard to find.

Re: rookie SS......Russell or Correa?

As of today, I'm taking Russell for the rest of this season. But in a keeper league, I would go with Correa.

Re: Soler and Gio for Braun ?

Braun comes with the obvious risks, but I would deal Soler and Gio G for Braun in a non-keeper league. Braun has been making hard contact at a very high rate this season which leads me to believe the 30 HR power is still there and his batting average will rise.

Re: Ross for Betts

I think Kluber will turn things around, but I'm much less certain about Strasburg. In terms of your trade, I like Ross, but Betts would be an overpayment and I hate making overpay deals this early in the season. Can you get anything else in the deal? Can you deal a hitter less valuable than Betts?

Re: Tulo?

Every year there are top players who slump the first couple months. Usually they turn things around and have solid seasons (though often not as great as we hoped when we drafted them). Unfortunately, at this point there is nothing to do with Tulo but be patient.

Re: Replacement for LaTroy Hawkins?

In a 12 team mixed, I would drop Hawkins and Betancourt if there was a free agent I liked. In a 12 team NL only though, I would be more hesitant to drop either of them until Ottavino strings together a few saves in a row. If I had to choose, I would drop Hawkins before Betancourt.

Re: AL Only - Kick an OF to the curb

I would drop Fuld. He has a large sample size over his career to indicate that he is way overperforming in the small sample size of 2015.

Re: Odubel Herrera

He has some speed. Note that his hold on the starting CF job may end when Domonic Brown returns from his hamstring injury (in which case Revere may move back to CF). Herrera is probably worth a look as a flier in the end game of NL only leagues, but at this point, I don't see him any more than that.

I slightly prefer Storen.
