Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

I'm posting in pieces because I don't want to have any problems that would require me to lose and need to retype an entire post. Please see my comment on the Razzball front page for my thanks. Here are some interesting tidbits from the finals matchup: 1. I nominate Miguel Cabrera as my finals MVP fo...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

It's done and I've managed to keep my lead. The final score will be 6-4. The exact breakdown may still change depending on whether Cano adds to his stats, but with the score tied 3-3 at the bottom of the 10th inning, I think that it's safe to call the game. Here is the current (and perhaps final) br...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Actually, before I criticize others, I should note that I fell asleep on pitching a bit. My opponent grabbed Guzman, Bullington and Kendrick last night. So it will be his 9 SPs again my 9 SPs today. I have an 18 Ks lead and a 4 wins lead. Not insurmountable, for sure. Hope some of my 9 guys can last...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Midday moves: 1. Rios is playing so he is back in. Victorino is not playing so he is out. That Phillies lineup looks completely unrecognizable. 2. B.J. Upton is playing so be is back in. Longoria is playing today as well. Not sure if they will get pulled early, but I am willing to take the chance if...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Scoring update after Saturday, September 27. 13 days down. 1 day to go. Score is 6-4. I'm still winning. The scoring in each of the categories remains very close. I like my chances, but this thing isn't over yet. Here is the breakdown: Rs 84-91 (will lose this) HRs 22-25 (winning and hope to hold on...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Since I grabbed all of the remaining SPs for tomorrow. My opponent grabbed Balfour and C. Perez for tomorrow. I have a 4 saves lead. I should be ok. Boston and New York play two tomorrow. Hard to think of who I can pick up that would be available. I grabbed Ransom, figuring that he has a shot to pla...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Just made some more roster adjustments. B.J. Upton and Bartlett are both not playing, so I screwed up by not picking up an extra MI player. I took out Bartlett and inserted F. Lopez, who is playing tonight. Longoria is playing. I was bit surprised at that. Glad to see Mi. Cabrera and Santiago playin...

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Weird start to the FLA-NYM game:

- H. Ramirez singled to right
- H. Ramirez stole second
- H. Ramirez scored
- Batter singled to left
- J. Cantu doubled to left, J. Baker to third

Re: Lolhamburger H2H Playoff Thread

Just grabbed Moyer, Maddux, Bush and Smith for tomorrow's games. Also discovered that ESPN seems to be earlier with posting each game's starting lineup than Yahoo. Gotta remember that.
