Re: I need a slugger/power/RBI/HR guy, who to target?

I depends on who you are looking to trade away. Looking at your roster, I don't see any clear trade candidates. Guys that are hitting well, but expendable. Maybe Rizzo because you already have Goldy, but he wouldn't make sense to get rid of if you need power. I think he's due for a nice power run. I...

Re: Evan Gattis

Depends on your league and whether you have the flexibility to own 2 catchers or not. If it's a daily league and you can keep Gattis around as a 2nd catcher, I'd prefer Gattis over all those guys (in fact, I cut Perez long ago and passed on the other 2 to keep Gattis around myself). I think Gattis s...

Re: Drop Middlebrooks?

I'm dropping him today (I've had him since he was called up). Maybe he turns it around, but he simply isn't a very good hitter right now.

And he won't have long to figure it out. Bogaerts should be pushing him soon, and Cecchini's tearing up the Carolina League and will be on the way after Bogaerts.

Re: Franklin or Rutledge?

rutledge was on pace for 20/20 before the demotion... and also while demoted he dramatically improved his bb/k rate. franklin does not project 20/20 and does not play home games in colorado... it should be CLEAR who is better. i go rutledge... in fact, just picked him up for my m.i. spot. I think I...

Re: Frazier dropped, cut Donaldson?

I think you are fine playing the hot hand with all 3 of these guys. Over the course of the season though, I'd probably rather have Donaldson and Frazier over Markakis. I love Markakis as a real life player, but I'm just not a huge fan for fantasy. Finding an OF off the wire to give you what Markakis...

Re: Teheran......

Julio's fine to cut in most leagues. Maybe he gets it together, but he's not commanding the fastball and the off-speed stuff just isn't good enough. I think he needs some more time in AAA, which he'll get when Beachy's back. Even after that, Braves have a few good prospects that are on fire right no...

Re: Gregorius or Infante

No idea how good Didi will be, but it doesn't matter much. If the question is Omar Infante or Player X, the answer is almost always Player X.

Re: Good Offer? *WHIR*

Agreed. I probably wouldn't do it, but if you really don't want Lawrie, it's a fine trade. Mostly, I wouldn't do it because I wouldn't be in a hurry to give up Choo and I'm not a huge fan of Zimm. Bourn's a great piece to have, but your team should be pretty solid in SBs anyway. When giving up the b...

Re: DROP Ben Revere for Nate McClouth?

I would definitely do that. I'm pretty upset I missed out on him a couple of weeks ago. He hits atop a nice lineup, is getting on base, stealing them, and scoring runs. He's displayed some useful power in the past too. Maybe he'll fall off and maybe he hasn't really put the past couple of dreadful s...

Re: Lend me a hand rosterbating?

I'd grab Moose and hope he heats up.

I'd take any of Lucroy, Salty, or Flowers over Montero, probably in that order. They're all pretty much the same, just go with who's hot.

He won't replace your speed, but I think Reimold's a fine add. When he's healthy, he hits.
