As a result, though, I can now only address one of my two problems this week: Beckham’s injury or Bruce’s tough schedule.

So for just this week, which of the following options would you go with?

(A) Start Gordon Beckham at 2B and drop Alcides to make room for and start Chris Carter
OR
(B) Start Jay Bruce, bench Beckham, keep Carter in the minors, and drop Alcides for Adam Kennedy*

*or some other 2B free agent like Macier Izturis, Blake DeWitt, Ronny Cedeno, Brendan Ryan, Alexi Casilla (inj)

PS: Owning Kemp this year has made me want to slit my wrists. When did he turn into Bossman Junior Junior? I thought nabbing him in the second round was a good compliment to Miggy, but I think he needs to make like Chris Brown in a hurry and get back to productivity.

We start two RPs, and Lewis is RP-eligible. I usually start Soria and Wagner, except when I can move Lewis into RP to get an extra start or two starts from one of my bench SPs.

Considering KC’s schedule, I’m leaning toward starting Lewis too.

I think I know the answer to this after you listed Bruce in Friday’s Buy/Sell…but I’ll ask anyway.

Lose Bruce, Alcides or Fowler?

Bruce cannot be kept. Fowler has nice keeper options…Alcides not so much (and I also own Desmond, so I don’t need another SS).

Just wanted to get your opinion on some AL-Only weekly lineup shizz.

Michael Saunders vs Julio Borbon for the 4th OF spot. I’m thinking Saunders at this point even if Daniel Murphy’s homers have him dizzy. Washington’s got jukebox control and he’s not playing 1 Borbon. I think Daniel Murphy’s homers have Borbon dizzy too.

Then I need to pick 2 out of Chris Carter, Dan Johnson, Dayan Viciedo and the loser of the above contest (Saunders/Borbon). I’m thinking Carter and Johnson. But am I just being swayed by their presidential last names?

Viciedo is batting .300 and slugging .500… will he get a chance for more regular playing time this year or will he remain a guy who sometimes play vs lefties until he’s sent back to the minors?
