@Grey: Dumped Car-Go to fill a slot today, so need another CF. The three best performers in the last week or so look to be Nyer Morgan, Dukes or DeJesus. I'm way ahead in Runs, RBI and HRs and behind by 3 in SB, so thinking of taking Morgan for a spin. Or I could move Al-Ram to CF and pick up Velez. Thoughts?

Hey. finals are tied 6-6, and I’m tied 2-2 in sbs but losing 7-6 in wins, 4-2 in L’s, .7 in ERA and like .1 in whip. I have a solid rotation of guys coming up, but I could spot-start to try and take wins, since losing ERA is all but assured. I already picked up Taveras to make a run at steals. Should I pick up Milledge and plug him in for his speed or take Bush for the spot start tomorrow?

Well, it was bittersweet. At least the old place went out with a win. Still sad, though. When Mile High Stadium closed, I cried. We got a lovely new stadium shaped just like a giant diaphragm named for a company that no longer exists. It sucks.

Would anyone else have the nuts to start Niese against the Cubs today? I’m just wondering if it’s a good spot start to roll the dice on since maybe the Cubs are mentally pulling back on the throttle while the Mets are in a fight for their lives. Good start/Bad start?
