Yahoo! FLB Tip – Gameday Roster Changes
Yahoo’s Fantasy Baseball platform allows you to swap guys around your roster as long as their game hasn’t started.
Teams submit lineups about an hour before games start.
If a hitter is in the starting lineup, Yahoo puts a ‘^’ next to his name. If he’s riding the pine, there is an ‘x’ next to his name.
So if you have hitters on your bench, log in about 45 minutes before the first games are set to begin to see if any of your starting lineup is getting the day off.
Beats getting goose eggs for one hitter while a bench player is putting up stats.

Rudy, I don’t want to sound snarky because I think you’re great, but did you just figure this out. They’ve been doing it all season and obviously if you can get to your computer within that time frame, it’s a big help.
@Bob: Rudy’s in prison and just emerged from the hole. Keep hope alive, Rudy!

@Grey: Yahoo’s also got this new “drag and drop” feature to edit your roster.
@Peter: *turns on light, turns off light* Hey, you guys gotta see this!

Actually, they started this about halfway through last season, but who’s counting?

@Grey: and what’s the deal w/ this Launch StatTracker square? Is this a “link”? My grandson is always talking about facebook, does it give me facebook?

Sometimes the X and ^ are inaccurate. For example yesterday Ellsbury started even though they said he didn’t. So I missed out on 2 SB. Thanks a lot, Yahoo.

Under “Smack Talk” it says to “F myself.” Now, what does it mean to “F”? and how do you smack a talk?
I went with a few of my contemporaries to the Victorola repair shop and there were these…. How do I say it? Kids, and their pants were sagged! Disgusting. Wasn’t like that in the old timey days.
FYI, smack is heroin.
Ha ha guys. Realize that some/many of you knew about this. Just spreading the news for any Razzballers who might not know about it.
But glad to see Razzball Nation bringing some snark. We sure as hell bring enough of it to players, managers, other fantasy baseball writers, etc….
@brett – that wasn’t yahoo’s fault on sunday. ortiz was a late scratch and ellsbury was added at the last minute. if it makes you feel better, i got goose eggs from ortiz and left a 3-for-4 with a HR from laroche on the bench….
