NL Only 10 teamer, my last Utility spot is currently taken up by jack of all trades, master of none Ty Wigginton (Bench is minor-league heavy with Bryce Harper, Pomeranz, and Brett Jackson, w/De La Rosa on my DL). Don’t recall seeing any love/hate for Ty recently (I hate, but think he may be vauluable at some point this year). Thinking about dropping Ty for Captain Kirk Nieuwenhuis with Torres reportedly not progressing well with his calf strain. Any thoughts on this?

Keep getting offers for Miguel Cabrera. My pitching staff is wonky as can be, garza and Anibal are my aces unless Ubaldo and liriano suddenly go back to being studly. One guys offered me Brandon Phillips, Kendra morales, Dan haren and volquez. Another guy offered me Hamels, Hanley and werth. I need help pitching but I have an excellent outfield and aybar Reyes Espinosa at middle infield w utley on my dl. My other CI’s are Reynolds A Rod and Lind at util. Do you like either of those trades? I’m skeptical

Just lucked out with a waiver claim for JJ Putz. Someone dropped him for Kyle Lohse…wtf? 12 teamer and I had #6 waiver priority so I lucked out to grab him.

Have 5 closers now though. Debating dropping Broxton or Marshall. Thoughts? Should I drop to shop those guys first?

What is the concensus strategy on handcuffing relievers, is it better to have insurance for your own closers, or gamble on someone else’s? Basically, I have Street, and I’m holding Adams and Pestano. Should I drop one of those two for Cashner?

@Colby Rasmus, I was going to post something about this yesterday- it’s very early, so small sample size yadda yadda, but Rasmus has only struck out 13% of the time, and has a 21% LD rate and a 47% FB rate, with no IFFB and a 0% HR/FB ratio… Yet he has a BABIP of .105. If he kept up the LD and FB rates, and had anything near his career HR/FB ratio (which is okay, 10%), he should hit for a fair average with around 20 HR, with a chance for upside. So I’m holding on to him, and was considering pursuing him in the league in which I don’t have him, but by brother in law owns him and I don’t want to fleece him.
