@Hank: I read what they wrote before I wrote my post. I also read what about ten other people wrote before I wrote mine. I don't agree with those saying Morrow will not be the closer, but I've been wrong before, and right now it's all speculation anyway. I also don't think Heilman will be the closer and some are saying that. Did anyone see him trying to close games last year? If Morrow is a starter, I'd like him a lot as a late round sleeper, better than Carrasco. I'd like him as someone who should be drafted in ten team mixed leagues as a last starter.

@Grey: Grey, I actually think Morrow will be a starter next season, and I think there are a lot of people who agree, see Bleeding Blue and Teal:

“The first reaction is to think about Brandon Morrow returning to the bullpen, but I will be shocked if Heilman starts the 2009 season in the Mariners rotation.”

However, I’m willing to admit the Mariners’ brass don’t always do what the fans, pundits, media, bloggers, suggest. In any case, the important part of my rambling: if Morrow is a starter to begin the season, where does he rank among your sleepers? Carrasco territory? Personally, I’m convinced by Morrow’s stuff and think he projects to be Billingsley-esque. Your thoughts?
