We’re the biggest, most cosmopolitan city and we’re the main commercial centre, and there’s a perception that we’re a bunch of shallow, flashy, latte-swilling property developers.

There are a few of those of course, but the truth is a little less interesting.

However, Felix’s numbers against the AL East were insane- for example, 3-0 in 3 starts against NYY, with 2 complete games and a .35 ERA. TEX was actually the team that scored the most runs on him 4.28 ERA over 6 starts.

I rarely made it very far west for the same reason. Public transportation is a mess in LA, and it seems impossible to get a cab when you really need one.
