I drafted him in my 4 team league (me and my roommates for bragging rights) and I’m thinking about dropping him because it’s insanely shallow. Also have him on an ESPN h2h team that I just picked up from an inactive friend. I’m rooting for both of them to do well!

softening of the game over the years has allowed the “weakies”
a better chance to advance , and hence to screw up the game .
all this ‘inviting the past players back’ has led to more movie-goer types
than actual players .

@Wilsonian, If it’s not a keeper league and it’s fairly shallow then I bet you’d be okay. Catchers are generally a crapshoot, they’re either on fire or they’re hitting .190 so it’s all about riding the hot bat. I own Miggy Montero and Posey and they’re stinking it up lately.

how do you feel about that deal? i alreayd have prince and reynolds at 1b/util, and i’d have to pick up a ss off waivers (12 team league so the best available is like cozart or ian desmond or something).

@Poo Holes, yeah. I guess I would be OK with 3 Jays. Especially guys who just hit the long ball. Seems like at least one of those guys hit one every game. However, I don’t know if Jesus is flat out droppable even in a shallow 8 Teamer. I know he’ll blow up the second I do, but JP has looked locked in lately and I’m also afraid I’ll miss out on a hot streak.

Yeah, Probst said, “I think this season was a bit of a letdown. No fault of the Survivors, we are the producers. We just didn’t have the standout moments and characters needed for a great season.”

The show is at its best when you have a handful of people who are playing, plotting, and scheming like their lives depend on it. You get that situation when you mix a truly difficult game with people who truly give a crap about the title of “Sole Survivor,” maybe more than they care about the million dollars.

I think we’ve been seeing more and more expected “characters” (and more photogenic people) than real “players” for a while now. And the game has been getting easier and easier (more comfy camp life, way more luxurious rewards more often) to allow those people to hack it. I really hope that snowball is stopped, because it’s still the only show I feel like I have to watch.

Hey grey, other team’s owner isn’t interested in Luke Scott or another hitter for that matter. Says he needs a pitcher. Out of Zimmerman, Peavy, BumGarner, and Anibal, who do you like the least the rest of the way? Would one of these guys straight up be a decent deal for Kendrick?
