But yeah, that bogus trade from earlier needed to be rejected. The one I brought up in the comment (Pierzynski, Seager, Upton, and Capuano for Cutch or Trout) would be one that I offered to him, meaning I’d get the one guy. Obviously that’s a trade I would do because I would be upgrading. However, there’s no chance in hell he’d do that and that’s why I hate this league.

In the northwest, there was what I think was an urban legend that a lawmaker’s son died in a gas station explosion, so he pushed for the law. It’s probably just a remnant of the late-40s or early-50s when the safety equipment was not as effective and everyone constantly smoked, so the there was good reason behind the laws.
